We’re delighted you’ll be joining us in Hudson, NY, as we inaugurate this new single-day version of our Knitting with Company Retreats. As retreat day draws closer, we’ll be sending more information specifically about your day with us; in the meantime here’s a taste of what we have in store for you and some information that may be helpful as you begin to plan your visit to Hudson.

from 9 am to 5 pm

3rd Floor Gallery — 341 Warren Street — between 3rd and 4th Streets
The 3rd Floor Gallery is an open, light-filled space that will be furnished with tables and chairs. Please note that it is on the 3rd floor of the building and that it is accessible only by stairs, so be prepared to walk up two flights.

What the day will look like
9 am: A continental breakfast from Talbott & Arding (our caterer for the day) will greet you when you arrive and the pop-up shop will be open.
9:30 am: Welcome from Julie, Catherine and Sarah.
9:45 am to 12:30 pm: Knitting, laughter, stories, help from your hosts (should you need any).
12:30 to 1:30 pm: lunch.
1:30 to 2:30 pm: panel discussion of all things knitting featuring Julie, Catherine and Sarah — more about this in a later email.
2:30 to 5 pm: more knitting, laughter, stories and help; interrupted about 3:30 for coffee, tea and snacks.

What to bring
Bring a project that’s well underway or one you’re just starting. We’d be thrilled to see one of our designs on your needles and happy to answer any questions you may have about it or help you with any unfamiliar techniques or difficult pattern instructions. If you’re stuck and need some inspiration for a new project, we’ll be delighted to offer that as well.

What you’ll find in the pop-up shop
Our pop-up will be small, but well-curated. We’ll have a few things you haven’t seen and a few that are familiar. There’ll be yarn to support the designs we’ll be featuring, notions and needles from Catherine’s regular inventory, and some surprises from a few friends who have graciously accepted to help stock our shelves.
